Piano — learn the piano
A piano-learning app that listens.
Piano goes from reading your first note to working on a piece: it listens over a microphone or MIDI to what is actually played and builds what comes next out of that. Everything that matters runs on the device and works with no network.
What is in it
- A learning path that decides what comes next from what you actually play — after a short placement.
- Reading: quizzes, flashcards and endlessly generated sight-reading pitched at your level.
- Rhythm to tap, clap and take down by dictation — a table is enough for it.
- Ear training: pitches, intervals, chords, cadences, melodic dictation.
- Technique: Hanon, scales, arpeggios and cadences in all 24 keys.
- Harmony: hearing and playing chords, lead sheets, improvising over a loop, a harmony walk and the circle of fifths.
- Theory to read, with an interactive circle of fifths — and an explore feed with nothing asked and nothing scored.
- Photograph a score, have it followed while you play, and practise it: bar loops, tempo ramps, problem bars.
- German and English, with note naming set separately from the interface.

Android blocks installs from a browser at first — open the file and allow it once from this source. The builds are unsigned and explicitly beta.
iOS
iOS betas go through Apple's TestFlight — install TestFlight from the App Store first, and the link then opens the app inside it. Tap it on the iPhone rather than on a computer.
